Enrolment

Before prospective Academy students join any of our courses. They are asked to take part in a simple two part audition.

Firstly, we need to assess each individuals instrument ability and musical knowledge. This will be done in a one to one situation with one of our instrument teachers, taking the student through some straight forward musical and technical exercises.

 This is followed by a post-audition interview, generally with the Centre Manager. You can then discuss the results of  your playing audition, clarification of the course that may be best suited to you,  your predicted academic grades (if required), the day to day lessons you will study, how you will travel to the centre and financial support . You will also have the opportunity to tour the centre and get familiar with the equipment and facilities our students use.

Auditions need to be booked in advance with your nearest Academy centre.
